This has officially become my favorite AYCE spot in Vegas! When we checked the waitlist, it was a 1.5 hour wait! I loved that we were able to waitlist ourselves while on the strip, so once we got to the restaurant, we only waited about 15-20 minutes more.
We decided to get the "Wagyu" menu for $44.95 per person. I wish I had the stomach to try each and every single item. Since I couldn't, I made sure to get all of the limited items. The lobster tail and filet mignon were the only items I was disappointed in. The lobster was a bit too salty for me and the filet mignon was tough.
One thing I regret is not getting more of the mini wraps! I saved those for last, but they were sooo good! I am normally the type to want AYCE sushi over BBQ, but these wraps satisfied my sushi cravings. I also want to mention that the oysters were delicious and none of us were sick from it after!
This place was smaller than I expected and a little crowded to walk through, but the service was excellent from beginning to end. I'm looking forward to coming back again on my next trip!

It's been a few years since we were at Gangnam BBQ, and it appears that they have revamped their menu, grill, and service. The restaurant is under the same owners as 888 Korean and Japanese BBQ.
The menu at all 3 locations are similar, but also slightly different in their own way. However, GA BBQ is the only location that offers lobster tails and oysters (1 order max per guest) as part of their premium AYCE menu.
It'll really depend on what your cup of tea is. For me, I now would rank Gangnam #1, 888 Japanese #2, and 888 Korean #3 when 888 Korean BBQ was my go to for years.

Wow, Gangnam totally rocked my taste buds! The moment I walked in, the cool vibe and the smell of BBQ got me super excited. Everything I tried was super yummy, especially the marinated beef - it was so tender and full of flavor, I couldn't get enough. The staff were super chill and helpful, always there when we needed them. Although the wait was like close to 4 hours on a busy Friday night, but it's worth all the wait! You've gotta check this place out. Trust me, it's a game-changer!
Great food, staff was chill and attentive, and music was nice. Gangnam definitely has other kbbq's beat when it comes to quality and price.
